Brannon Blount, MS, RDN is a Registered Dietitian proudly rooted in Danville, VA. Brannon developed a love for fresh, local produce while gardening with her father and grandfather since she was a little girl. A 2013 graduate of Dan River High School and Piedmont Governor’s School for Math, Science, and Technology, Brannon went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with minors in Chemistry and Horticulture from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science in Applied Nutrition from the University of New England. She has since returned to her hometown with a mission: to help her community achieve a balanced, healthy lifestyle through personalized nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Brannon works full-time as a clinical dietitian at SOVAH Health – Martinsville and owns Brannon in Balance Nutrition LLC, where she educates through media, simplifies nutrition science, and debunks wellness myths. An active Danville Master Gardener and Gabriella Garden Club member, Brannon also collaborates with KatieDid Florals and Giles Flowerland as a floral designer. She spends her free time with her two dogs, Molly and Lexi, loves to take fitness classes downtown, and remains dedicated to uplifting her community with care and expertise.
